A wee bit dropsy

Rain drops, rain drops,

Is this yet another clichéd pome?

As they fall, unlike them apple drops,

Some just look like metal dots of chrome.

They chill too and give you a big coffee bill,

Hot syrup at that, Chocolate beat em too.

Me mom shout very shrill,

When in rain, I may get the flu?

Drippity drop, droppety drip,

Woke up this morning,

Saw the rain, so much! Lets go ship!

Let me write a clichéd pome rhyming.

I'm a wee bit dropsy, droopsy,

Whats it to you? I asksy,

You are to say that you caresy,

I'm just a wee bit dropsy.

The Americans

Just a couple of days ago, I went to meet a second cousin of mine. This second cousin went to the USA some 5 years ago. Now he's thoroughly americanized. He's forgotten how to speak his mother tongue(not that he ever spoke it much) and also the local language. Infact, he can communicate properly only in English.

Now, I wish to type out some his conversation I overheard, without his permission ofcourse.

"How can there be so much dust here? It is all because of these vehicles. Too many vehicles!! They should have some regulation. The government should do something. Like only you people can have vehicles and a certain class, not everybody".

"Uncle, don't worry. All fancy things, all the best things in the world, you get there. I am here only for the local, original things!"

"Aunty, take some vodka."

"No thanks beta"

"Take aunty! It's womens' rum!"

"I'm the hydraulics engineer blah blah"

[Later]"Over there engineering is considered the lowest field...only the low class society takes it"

"I can't recognize Bangalore, it is so horrible!"

Hmm this requires pondering though...

Oh well. So there's that.
