Life at NITK

So finally I got hold a sane computer which had a CPU in the Computer Centre and I'm taking the oppurtunity to make a post.

The weather here is really humid and I sweat like the Ghats.

Everyone was saying the girls weren't very pretty- well the girls are pretty enough for me.

The computer centre is a real pain since 99% of the computers are actually thin clients, so the speeds are ludicrous.

People here are awesome, all types-nerdy, cool, sporty, funny, weird, etc.

Mess food isn't as horrible as people made it seem. It's easily tolerable.

Classes are to start on Tuesday.

My beautiful 1 week old Motorola SLVR L7 got wet in the beach. DAMN! Plus, it happened on a Sunday and the damn service center in Mangalore is closed today. I hope it survives. My parents are going to kill me.

As of now, I'm really turned off because of my cellphone. *weeps*

And the atmosphere kinda...Bah, hell with the atmosphere. I loved my cellphone :((

Good hai yaar...settling into the new routine... Cell phone tragedies...will happen more and more...I drop mine at least 10 times a day...thank god for Nokia's sturdy models. A word of advice don't switch you phone on, take out the battery and let the whole thing dry up...use a hair dryer on low... Helps save money man, I only had to get my ringer changed... I had dropped it in the bathtub!

Hi...you sound like you settled in quite well!

How come you don't visit any more? Comps are rare there?

OOps! The same thing happened to my Nokia 6600.. I kinda dismantled it and left it for drying for a couple of days.. It was fine after that.. try it.. sometimes home remedies can the best of them all.. ;)
