Arguments arguments

I personally don't like talking about religion and politics. Actually I do love to. Only I avoid them.

People start talking about it and end up yelling and cursing and of course nobody wants to change their mind. Usually these sessions end up with someones feelings hurt, no progress will have been made. In cases where nothing evil happens, all the people are either detached, which is very good, because this is real productivity. Or all the discussors have similar views. Which makes them all agree with one another and this makes them think that they are correct. And the problem with this is that they usually aren't. And this can be problematic, because this drives one to be more unaccepting of opposing ideas. So what happens? The whole world splits into bunches of people with similar opinions and lots of people never know anything properly.

Human pride is the problem. Nobody ever likes to accept anything different or new. Even if they actively try to be so, ESPECIALLY in controversial matters such as religion, sex and ethics. Everyone wants to be correct and who the hell can blame us eh?
