Getting to the top

So, I was thinking about people and how smart they can be and how each person decides his own destiny and all that sort of related gibberish. Everyone does this some time or the other.

I was thinking, hmm, everyone is born with some inner latent ability/talent. Some persons are just smart, and some are just dumb, but most are in between! This is obviously demonstrated by a normal curve! Let's call this the inner ability everybody has the Latent Factor(L).
Also, not only does it matter that a person has a high L, it also matters how much effort they put into their lives. Let's call this the Effort Factor(E). As a sweeping generalization(a logical fallacy I agree), we'll assume that this variable also has normal distribution.

So from these two variables, a person's Quality Product(Q), or how good a person is in general at something is given by
Q = E x L
Now, L is generally a constant, but E isn't.   An overall distribution for a population would would like this...(spare the inaccuracies, please)

But the thing is, the top percent on the L graph don't have to be top 10% in the E graph. Or just put, someone with an L of 0.5, the worldwide average, can easily have as much Q as someone with a high L(say,1), simply because of the fact that most people have a Q of around 1/2!!  Of course, now the question becomes, how hard is it to get a high E, to sufficiently bump up your Quality Product to super-average levels? Just work hard I guess!

The Time Slip Theory

'Time shall slip through your slimy fingers'

An infamous theory made by a dead and unremembered great theorist, The Time Slip Theory explains all annoying phenomenon related to your time management problems.

In essence, it states "You suck at this". The theory gained widespread prominence in the 20 century as people started having more work than time. Insane as it may seem to compare work and time, we oversimplify the problem by assuming that since work TAKES time, work IS time. We thus can, retaining our measly sanity, say that we have more work than time. Coming back to life, people often feel overburdened with work, this is simple to understand, since, if you are reading this, you are advanced enough to want to do too many things. Yes, it's sad.

Let us try to understand why this happens. Firstly, there exist the Statoblasters. That's just the kind of statement from me that shows I have much time (see later), therefore less time.

Secondly, your fingers are slimy. Not my fault. Your fingers are ill conditioned for holding the fabric of time.

Lastly, the theory states so. It WILL slip. So there.

Another theory commonly used in conjunction with the Time Slip Theory is the even more popular Less is More Theory, which states,

'Less is More'

Essentially, when you have more work than time, time relatively seems less, but then actually you have more time, which, explains why people do nothing useful most of the time: they have too much of it!

PS: About the series 'Many Lives', it's ridiculously hard to make stories. I never really appreciated story writers until today. It'll move slowly. But it'll move for now. All suggestions welcome.
