Things I want in my life partner

Everyone has their dream life partner. For me, the following are characteristics of key importance, in decreasing order(of importance). But they'll probably change as I'm still a teenager and my mind has only recently starting to go 'calm' and 'mature'.(And it feels good! Teenage life was such confusing hell, hopefully people will be saner in univ)
  • Open Minded- She has to be open-minded, to new ideas, styles, everything.
  • Frivolous-She needs to be a happy person. Mainly because I want to be a happy person.
  • Helpful- I want her to help me with my problems and I want to help her as well.
  • Beautiful-Quite obvious. But she shouldn't be too beautiful. Anyone 'too beautiful' doesn't seem beautiful at all to me for some reason.(For example, I think Aishwarya Rai looks horrendous). She should be more cute than beautiful.
  • Good listener and talker-Need something for old age.
  • Not the same career as me- I don't want to be with another engineer. I'd prefer a journalist or artist or from another one of the more creative fields.
  • Good lifestyle and attitude- No smoking, light drinking(everyone loves girls gone wild), good partying, extroverted, laughs a lot, positive mind, forward-moving, self-improving person.
Yep, intense. I'll find her.
Ah, don't snigger away. People change.

So you also believe in complimentary synergy and want a spouse from a different field.

Good listener is another good point as ladies are deemed chatterboxes.

So your are the frivolus type. If you are in the mood for some frivolous poetry, try out my link.

I've always believed in synergy. People around me don't seem to understand it. They think they're all super-cool mavericks.

You say you'll find her. Are you planning/expecting to have an arranged marriage? Or a love marriage? Keeping your options open? You never know about the future. I've seen both of those types of marriage, and many have been surprising regardless of arranged or love type: the "how can they stand each other?" marriage still going strong after 15 years, or the "perfect couple" marriage falling apart in a year or two. What you need to focus on at your stage of life (besides studying hard and having a good time) is how will YOU become a good husband? You're more likely to have a successful marriage if you can do that. And what will you do if she isn't perfect? She won't be, and neither will you. Will it break things up, or will you be able to find a workaround? :-)

You know what? You will probably find a perfect life partner.

She will probably not fit any of the above mentioned qualities.

And you wouldn't care one bit.

Now how abt that?
