The cliché of a cliché

[rant]
One thing I recently noticed is how often people tend to use the word 'cliché'. Actually, I'm starting to think that the word itself is becoming a cliché. Its really annoying to find someone point out every darned cliché on the planet. Plain, I'm guilty of this too!

I don't blame people. Cliché is a actually a 'cool word'! See:
○ It has a 'e' with an accent. How cool is that?
○ They secretly hope someone will gawk at them ununderstandingly so that one may knowingly say,"A chli-shey, not cli-chey..blah blah! You don't know?".
○ It makes them appear as if they're scholars and that they may go around knowing what actually is a cliché. Makes me mentally scarred for life

Which brings me to another cliché: Mentally scarred for life. I don’t know how but off late mentally scarred kept bouncing in my head and I realized how many darned women use it to adjectivise their sad reality. I wonder if they fantasize of being mentally scarred for life.
As if mentally scarred wasn't enough, they just had to add a 'for life' there for God's sake.

Which brings me to a dying cliché: for God's sake. For God's sake, has everyone lost faith in God? Its been a while since I've seen that one! Makes people seem like a clichéd lot.

For gods, I'm mentally scarred for life writing a blarmed essay with the word cliché being repeated over 10 times.
