Those times...

You know those times when you want to do something, like water the plants or eat a cupcake, some fellow comes along and advises you to do that exact same thing. Bam! You no longer want to do it anymore.

You just don't want to do that thing now because then that person will feel as though you did it BECAUSE he told you to. It's as if that person thinks we have no self capacity to think and act. Pretty annoying it becomes especially when it happens more than 3 times in an hour.

Most of the time, when you wanna d something, you like doing it. Others bitching around asking you to do it shouldn`t make a difference dude. But, it really is very very annoying! I agree.

Bah. I just eat. No matter what.

You wanted to water the plants? Dude, I think you should see the shrink.

Please do not take it offensively, because it ain't my intention of offending you. But seriously, you shouldn't have so much of ego.

You cannot run your life with what others tell you to do, and in fact saying that doesn't mean that you should do what others want you to do. In fact, you should do what you had thought of doing, and what you think is right. So whether someone tells you to do that same thing or do something else, you shouldn't not-do it because you had already decided to do it.

You should give every one a patient hearing and listen to what they have to say. That doesn't mean you have to agree with them. But after listening to their point of view, you can assimilate and think what is right or what is wrong, and what you want to follow.

But doing, or even not doing something, just because someone has told us, is not the right attitude at all.
You should do what is right, and what your heart tells you.

@vega
I dunno. I don't count...

@equi
Looks like we come from the same place :)

@dogg
Because I wanted to water the plants. Well, that was just an example.

because I ~~wanted~~ ..., hmm, no I've thought about it, I definitely don't have to.

You should on the contrary, because nobody uses arcane vocabulary so as to contribute to extreme misunderstanding. Seriously, why ever use 'shrink'?? Omg, I bet noone knows what a shrink is! I had to look up a dictionary!

@nazriss
Wow, your comment is bigger than my post! :o
Anyway, I don't do that always, I was just frustrated while writing the post. But I would have thought that was obvious...

Most of your prosing had little effect on Moi.

Alo, if shrink is NOT a hard word.

OH MAN...three times an hour would make my wana knock my head into a wall!! And the heads of the people who ruined "the feeling" too!!
Nazriss has a point...but in times like the ones you've mentioned, I agree with ya COMPLETELY...philosophy just doesn't get through. You wana do EXACTLY the opposite of what the person is tellin ya...

H said...

i know.i know.

@nazriss : dude, how old are you? 60?

Anonymous said...

Heh. Shows your respect for old people, and your understanding (or lack thereof) of life, anyway...
But to humour you, I shall answer you anyway. No, I am not 60. Take another guess. But if it comes to experiences in life and inferences drawn thereof, I would perhaps be 60 times better off than you. Yes, that should be sufficiently precise.

But then, it was not my intention to offend any of you "youngsters" here. But apparently Mr. H couldn't perceive that...

finally! somebody has voiced something that's bothered me all my life!

Wow, fight and all broke out. You may continue if you wish. I like big comment numbers...

@all or nothing
Ahh, I was beginning to get freaked out I was the only person who felt like that!
