Hard and fast
You know lately I've been wondering how important 'keeping one's health' really is. Now staying currently hale and healthy and strong is very important. It would suck to have a cold(esp. with such great B'lore weather now)!
But imagine when you're 70 yrs old, you're 'healthy' as in you are alive and not in the hospital but you can't really do anything. Being 70 yrs old and walking around laughing and playing table tennis(like my super cool grandfather) is awesome I can tell you that! That's the peak of health! But he middle ground is a sad place. You are stuck. One might as well be dead rather than alive and doing nothing.
So what's one to do with staying healthy? I've decided that there are only two options. Either stay VERY healthy which implies exercise everyday, eat your veggies, lower starch intake, drink water, rest, proper cycle etc etc. If you aren't doing everything properly, you properly should bunk it and wreck your health and freak out.
Note: I really have NO idea whether one is happy doing nothing when they are old. If this is possible then all is great. But I highly doubt this is my case.
Note 2: I think the title sucks.
Note 3: Wow, this note style is cool and convenient, though totally unhealthy.
5 drops:
Don't know what to say. Old age is inevitable, the problems which occus along with are also inevitable, exercise, proper food etc. does help in staying till the end of time..but the meaning being healthy when one gets old changes. Being healthy doesn't mean being able to play table-tennis at 70. I think I've gone insane or something...I'm not re-reading what I wrote which I generally do. Cheer on!
Doing nothing is aways fun dude! But, the guilt that someone else is spending their time and money to look after you sucks! Big Time! When we are young, going to school, we dont feel bad when parents spend for us. But, later when we get mature, and old, The thought that our children are sacrificing their time for us may make us feel guilty, eventhough, we know they love us. Im 21... i shudnt be talking abt it. But, my pt of view.
Agreed. Totally. Even with the note2 and note3. Note1...no, some are really happy doing nothing. eg. someone in my place.
One more, eat Baidyanath Chyawanprash daily for good health :P
@vega
Yea! The meaning changes and being just 'healthy' doesn't cut it at that point. You have to be 'super healthy' to live superbly. Thats what Im trying to say.
@ram
Ya that's what i felt too...why make others suffer?
@equi
How can you agree with note 2?? HOW? You've broken my heart!
Fack. Profound.
And amen to Note 2.
